2025年8月18日（月）、中央アジア・カスピ海西岸に位置するアゼルバイジャン共和国の貨物航空会社、シルクウェイ航空が貨物チャーターを行い成田空港へ飛来しました。
OFCは同社の航空機に対する安全審査業務に携わり、当日の就航に向けて緊密に連携を図ることで、スムーズに手続きの上、無事就航まで完遂することができました。
シルクウェイ航空は、日本で定期運航を行うシルクウェイウエスト航空のグループ会社であり、世界的にも珍しいイリューシンIl-76-TD型機を運航するオペレーターとして知られています。そんなレアな航空機の到来ですが、長い時間をかけて就航に向けた調整を行い、ようやく無事就航の実現へと至りました。日本へはこれまでも、何度か不定期で飛来していたそうです。

On Monday, August 18, 2025, Silk Way Airlines, a cargo carrier based in Azerbaijan on the western coast of the Caspian Sea, operated a cargo charter flight to Narita Airport.
OFC was involved in conducting the airline’s safety reviews, and by working in close coordination with the company, we were able to smoothly complete all necessary procedures and ensure the successful operation of the flight.
Silk Way Airlines is part of the Silk Way West Airlines group, which operates scheduled services in Japan, and is known worldwide as one of the rare operators of the Ilyushin Il-76TD aircraft. The arrival of such a unique aircraft was made possible through extensive preparation and coordination, culminating in its successful operation. The airline has made several irregular visits to Japan in the past as well.
